a record of my musical background and experience.

Sammy Li is in her third year studying Mathematics and Philosophy at the University of Bristol, and holds the Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship for piano. As a soloist. Sammy has held recitals throughout Bristol and Essex, making her debut performance of Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto in 2023 in Brentwood Cathedral. She has also competed on the international stage, with highlights including prizes in L'Alfàs del Pi, Spain in 2019, and St. Petersburg, Russia in 2018. Sammy has appeared in masterclasses with Boris Kusnezow, Maria Razumovskaya, and Charles Owen in Steinway Hall. When not at the piano, Sammy enjoys directing the University Baroque Ensemble on the violin, and is currently the Assistant Concertmaster for the University Symphony Orchestra. However, Sammy most enjoys working as a collaborative pianist, with a particular interest in German Lieder. She is looking forward to playing Liszt's Totentanz at St. Georges, Bristol this March.
